About TisAndDis
We sell everything, because your life needs everything.
Let's be honest — nobody wakes up excited about buying detergent. Nobody puts "restock toiletries" on their vision board. But somewhere between the big dreams and the big plans, there's the everyday grind of actually running a home — the pots, the pans, the fridge that needs filling, the appliances that need to just work, the soap, the sponge, the stain that won't come out. That grind deserves better than a dusty supermarket aisle and a shrug. That's where we come in.
TisAndDis is the one-stop chaos-tamer for your home. We're the pots that make dinner happen when you're too tired to think about it. The appliances that quietly save your sanity, day after day, without asking for applause. The detergents that fight the good, unglamorous fight against every stain life throws at you. The toiletries that keep you looking and feeling like you've got your life together, even on the mornings you absolutely don't. And the groceries that keep everyone in the house fed, functioning, and — most days — happy.
Since 10th June 2021, TisAndDis has been Dansoman's answer to the question nobody wants to ask out loud: why does buying everyday things have to be this complicated? It started with a simple observation — that people don't shop in neat categories. Nobody wakes up and says "today I will only think about kitchenware." Real life is messier than that. Real life is "tis one, and dis one too" — the random list, the everything list, the "while I'm at it, let me also grab" list. So we built a store around exactly that kind of shopping. One stop, one cart, one trip — instead of five different shops for one Tuesday's worth of errands.
Since then, we've grown from a single idea into three physical stores and a full online presence, all rooted in the same Dansoman community that gave us our start. What hasn't changed is the reason we exist: to make the unglamorous, essential, non-negotiable parts of running a household a little easier, a little faster, and — dare we say it — a little more enjoyable.
What we sell
- 🍳 Cookware that means business — from the everyday pans that see daily duty to the fancier pieces you pull out when you're trying to impress somebody. Built for real kitchens, not just show.
- 🔌 Appliances that actually work — no more gambling on brands you've never heard of or products that die two weeks after the warranty runs out. We stock what holds up.
- 🧼 Detergents & cleaning that hit different — because "clean" should actually mean clean, not just "smells like it might be."
- 🧴 Toiletries for every routine — skin, hair, teeth, and everything in between, for every kind of household and every kind of morning.
- 🛒 Groceries, sorted — fresh, fast, and without the guilt-trip of staring into an empty fridge at 7pm wondering what happened to dinner.
TisAndDis — tis, dis, and everything in between.
Our Locations
We believe in being reachable, which is why we've planted ourselves firmly in Dansoman, Accra, with three physical stores you can walk into — plus a website that's open whenever you are.
- Dansoman General Acheampong High Street — located near the Kab-fam showroom, this is one of our main storefronts and a familiar stop for regulars in the area.
- Dansoman, Opposite Telecel — situated near Wesley Grammar, easy to find and easy to reach.
- Dansoman Road — our third branch, keeping essentials within reach across the community.
- Online, anytime — for when you can't make it in person, or you just prefer to shop from your couch. Everything available in-store is available here too, delivered to your door or set aside for pickup.
Whichever location you choose, you're getting the same TisAndDis promise: quality products, fair prices, and people who actually want to help you find what you came for.
How to Order
We kept the ordering process simple on purpose — because shopping for home essentials shouldn't feel like a chore layered on top of a chore. Here's exactly how it works, start to finish:
- Browse & select — explore our cookware, appliances, detergents, toiletries, and groceries, and add whatever you need to your cart. Mix and match across categories — that's the whole point.
- Complete your cart — once you're ready, fill out the checkout form with your email address, your delivery address, and your name, so we know exactly who we're getting your order to.
- Make payment — confirm your order with a secure payment. No hidden steps, no surprises at the end.
- Choose how you receive it — sit back and let us deliver it straight to your doorstep, or, if you'd rather grab it yourself, swing by any of our three Dansoman stores for pickup at your convenience.
That's it — no complicated account setups, no unnecessary back-and-forth. Select, checkout, pay, and receive.
Refund Policy
We want every purchase from TisAndDis to actually feel good, not just at checkout but after it arrives at your door too. If something isn't right, here is our complete refund policy, laid out clearly so there's no confusion:
Eligibility for a refund
- The item must be returned in the exact same condition it was delivered in — unused, unopened, and undamaged, with original packaging intact where applicable.
- Proof of purchase (order details, receipt, or confirmation) is required for all refund requests.
Items that are not eligible for a refund
For hygiene, safety, and quality reasons, the following categories cannot be refunded once opened:
- Opened toiletries
- Opened groceries
- Opened detergents
If you're ever unsure whether a specific item qualifies before you open it, reach out to us first — we'd rather answer a quick question than have you lose out on a refund.
How to request a refund
- Contact our team by email or phone (details below) with your order number, the item(s) in question, and the reason for your request.
- Our team will review the request and, where applicable, arrange for the item to be inspected — either at one of our stores or through a collection.
- Once the returned item is confirmed to meet the conditions above, we'll process your refund.
We aim to keep this process as fair and straightforward as possible, for you and for us. If you ever feel something wasn't handled right, don't hesitate to escalate it directly with our team — we take it seriously.
